There was a good interview with Photek in Jockey Slut
a short while back. He did sound like he was turned
off by the "heavy metal" drum n bass. He and Peshay
still seemed pretty excited about making drum n bass.
I haven't seen anything to show any other genres that
are sprouting any new found revitalization. I think
everything is cyclical, there are periods where there
are a lot of amazing releases and then there are
periods where there aren't that many.
I still find way more dnb in the shops I want to buy
over other genres.

I'm pretty familiar with a lot of SF dnb, I just don't
buy any. There's a guy name Calibre from there
(actually he move there from Ireland) that is suppose
to be promising. I didn't like his first release on
Green, but I'm interested in hearing other releases
from him.

I prefer to see what's happening in London, Brighton,
and Bristol.
I also just heard some amazing tunes from Pieter K
(LA). I was pretty blown away by his latest batch of
tunes.
