no, it's the same way over here. no one really dances. over here it may be
because of lacking comprehension more than elitism though. at recent
muziq/hrvatski/eoss show no one would dance until vatski whipped out the
disco-like track at the end (remix of amen brother?) and when muziq turned
into full on hardcore bmbmbmbmbm for over half an hour. in both they could
understand the bmbmbmbm. the breakbeats are too confusing - "what beat is
coming next? not sure, better not move or i'll mess it up." probably similar
for nonbreakbeaty music. if it's got a groove, like these guys or skam, i
don't see what the problem is.
of course people could just be really enjoying listening to it rather than
getting all into it physically. nothing wrong with that eh? i imagine it'd
get a bit boring sitting motionless and attentive for hours though.
