In full understanding that this isn't really within the scope of this list:
Maybe it's Cache Coeur Naif--it's not UiLab--but I've decided to bite the
bullet and finally pick up a lone Stereolab disc for those late-night
interludes, if for no other reason than just to display lack of imagination.
Problem being they've got scads of uneven, often lackluster output, and I
don't care nearly enough to sort through the whole mess.
If anybody could shoot me an off-list e-mail with a short-list of Stereolab
albums that that actually filter the frog chanteuserie into an interesting
context, that'd be fab. Due apologies to list purists, but I was more
interested in perspectives from listies here than from the die-hards that
tend to have web sites on this sort of thing.
