..so it is safe to say now that the earth will not be exploding or
otherwise being destroyed in the next 24 hours... and all of us who
secretly hoped for y2k or some general mass technology failure (a return to
"primitive" electronics), will have to wait for the real disaster........
especially relevant since someone mentioned dancing to it a few days ago,
ae's 'acroyear2' would probably be the best song to celebrate y2k with : to
me, it is the epitome of their style of brutal-yet-exhilarating low-tech
exultation.
just hoping that someone shared these sentiments. maybe not realistically,
but at least in theory... ? you all listen to dirty beats and screechy
synths : you can at least relate to the aesthetic !
