Maybe not, but my song Creste (www.mp3.com/ceTeR) was made entirely in Modplug Tracker (with some after-touching in Cubase's audio department) and I don't think it would've sounded half as good if it was made with Impulse Tracker, but then again, I haven't used ITracker since MPT was stable enough to use for mod tracking, so maybe I missed a major update or something. But I must also admit i haven't tried those effects you mention.
