personally i enjoy his dj material quite a bit.... its the constant buildups that make shis mixing style sound great to me... for example...in the M-Nus -orange A1 track (the one before the nitzer ebb track)... he uses the delay feature on the fx box...and it 1/2 stacks the beats for a section of a measure creating an intensity and a sense of anticipation. he does it frequently throughout the mix. when i saw him last week in milwaukee he woudl just build and build and build and then thump it...not really a break down..but sort of... imo he's a great dj...and an amazing producer (im not too big a fan of consumed)..but love his concepts. -mike ps. he doesnt just spin hard minimal techno...he spins house (svek, dessous stuffs), d&b (bukem esque), and in some people's eyes trance. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
