it's the second time this happens. buy an old autechre ep only to find
out there's only _2_ freaking tracks on it! first it was envane... oh
well, at least 'latent quarter' is quite a beauty. but now i just found
anvil vapre & once again, 2 tracks (hurray ~ not) & not one of them
comes near to be as good as tri repetae... & to think i was told tri
repetae is mostly good because of disc 2 containing anvil vapre &
garbage? either all the good tracks are on garbage, or they just like
to put their worse tracks on vinyl ~ or maybe (as i guess) there's 2
different versions of anvil vapre (& envane) with 2 tracks each. either
way, i don't get it; it's good to alienate your fans musically, but
alienating their wallet is rarely a good thing. i suppose we should
simply blame warp. (when i wake up & the weather is shit, i just repeat
to myself 'it's warp's fault' to make me feel better. (yes, this was
sarcasm, although i'm not sure what it's directed at.))
speaking of which, are there any remaining competitors for the 'last
idm-l member to buy ep7' contest? :)
