It's a lot easier getting advance copies for review in the country of
origin rather than overseas - I'd love to be able to review records
in Urb so that publication is timely with releases, but it's often
just not possible except for domestics, and even then labels don't
seem to care that much. I usually have to wait until something's
commercially available before review. I suspect most of the other Urb
reviewers [apart from those in the UK] have that same issue, hence we
tend to review records that we expect to still hold up after the lag
time...
