You've accused me of claiming to know things about the debate at hand; I
have done no such thing. I have addressed a side topic. I have never
claimed to know anything about the actual debate. What I have done is
defended those who do want to take part in a discussion they have every
right to take part in.

Absolutely. The debate between the artists could have gone on privately,
but they decided to make it public. So I believe that gives me the right to
say whatever the hell I want about it. I mean, if Plaid and Black Dog have
the right to settle their personal conficts on a an email list, then surely
I can respond to it.
