just fyi: they are going to in the future, according to an interview with steve and rob from warp in the german de:bug mag. there, they state they want to give their artists more freedom to create an all-around piece of art and that they're also sick of tdr delaying their releases because they're allegedly never on time with their artwork. personally, I think tdr cover designs are still stylish, but haven't been all that fresh lately. nothing recent I've seen from them compares to the AI, amber, tri repetae or even the blech 1 covers. IMO, the most consistently aesthetic and witty covers ever are still atom heart's on his RI releases. an all-time classic, however, is the cover of rancho relaxo all-stars on disko b. so funny it brought tears to my eyes. cheers, tom mailto:tom.tonger@uni-koeln.de cdr trade page: http://www.uni-koeln.de/wiso-fak/fswiso/team/tom/trade.htm cologne list: http://www.uni-koeln.de/wiso-fak/fswiso/team/tom/koeln-elektronik.html
