I've never heard anything quite like this album. Many of the tunes boarder on being painful to listen too (not physically painful like Pan Sonic though). I always love it the first time I hear it in awhile, but I can never listen to more than once in a sitting (or a week). It's sort of the musical equivalent of S&M. Nothing like ATR. -Michael
