now there's a name i didn't expect to see on there...
fyi, Shawn J. Period is the guy who has produced mos def's last 12" on
rawkus. he also did the mos def/tash/q-tip one on lyricist lounge and a
few others on there (i think mike zoot... i don't have the disc right
here). I think he'll also be producing the black star release (mos
def/talib kweli), so yeah, he appears to be mos def's main producer. he's
probably worked with loads of other hip hop artists, tho.
i just found it odd for thim to be on this comp.
