this video clips/samples business:
i saw a group called eboman a year or so back doing exactly this live.
All the samples they were using had associated pieces of film which were
projected behind them. i remember it was quite interesting to see a flash
of film towards the end of a track from a longer sequence at the beginning
showing you how they were producing some exciting sounds by mashing up
earlier more lengthly samples. i also don't recall the group being
particularly good though...
