First, thanks so much to everyone who has offered assistance withthis so
far.
Now, I am beginning to feel totally incompetent but I downloaded
an mp3 player for mac and tried again with the same results. I tried
going to a site where there were other mpeg files and I get the same
result. When I click on the image or message to download the mpeg,
I get a gray screen with horizontal and vertical scroll bars. No
download in progress, nothing. I downside my navigator to look at
my mpeg player just in case, nothing. I open the window in my mpeg
player to see if the file downloaded miraculously fast but of course it
did not. No audio and no files. What could I be doing wrong? Has
anyone experienced anything remotely similar to this? I am using a fast
modem, a 200 mhz mac, 48 megs of ram and the most recent Netscape.
I really am confused by this.
