you can afford one if you can afford to blow all your cash on cd's..
In a thrift shop near my house I've found a high-quality pioneer turntable
that looks just like a Technics SL-1200 except it's just a regular
turntable, so it doesn't have a pitch control..
It's like $30, dirt cheap, and it takes standard cartridges, and also has
counter balance.. (as I said, exactly like sl1200 without pitch control)..
if you just look around flea markets, thrift shops, you'll find one..
even then, you can get a cheap ass turntable at Best Buy (the one I
mentioned in the thrift shop probably a shitload better tho :)
