That sounds like a great discussion... My choices: Chemical Brothers, for one album. Popularized a great new sound, then destroyed it with a sub-par rehash. The Prodigy, for their first two albums... The first is just classic fire- it-up rave in yo face bizness that brings back lots of good memories, and their second album rocked the funky joint with what I considered to be a tremendous transition out of the cliche chimpmunk sound. Those beats were good and _loud_ too!
