Do yourself a favor and save this post somewhere, and read it again in
10 years or so when you finally realize that one man's mediocre music is
another man's treasure. Or that recommending that someone else buy the music
that *you* like isn't necessarily in their best interest. What good does it
do to tell someone, when they're asking for people who like a certain type of
music (or a particular artist) to recommend something, that their music sucks
and that they should buy your music instead?
It took me a long time before it finally dawned on me that the world
wasn't the black & white of "My taste" and "Bad taste". If he likes Banco
De Gaia, so be it.
