Hullo,
Finally received my copy of the Shapes 3x12" today. It was well
worth the wait, although it is a bit expensive for just one track
per side (I paid 13.50GBP or about $20). I've given it just one
listen as of now, so I won't review it just yet - though it is one
of the best records I've bought in ages.
But, does anyone _really_ know who is behind it? I went through
all Darrell Fitton/Bola material that I have, and I'm quite
certain that most of the tracks (if not all) are his. If anyone
can concur/deny this I'd like to hear about it. And if anyone has
_factual_ info, please step forward with it. Label, track names...
The runout grooves reveal different catalog codes for each side,
AM19679A - AM19683A.
I know this issue has been discussed here before, and I apologise
for the repetition, but I've deleted the previous threads. If you
don't want to clutter the list with repetition, please respond
privately.
