Sorry, you're definitely not speaking for me :) As for µ-Ziq vs. the Auteurs, that disc got tiresome after a little while. But his first album, Tango'n Vectif is by far on of the greatest electronic masterpieces of all time. It seems so cliche for me, but that first disc has always been close to me, and I've yet to hear anything of his since come close to the crisp musical brilliance captured on that first record. This new drum'n bass ep is cute, granted. There are some pleasant tunes (Let Let is brilliant) and Bluff Limbo is nice too. But In Pine Effect, Kid Spatula, and the Jake Slazenger releases sound crusty to me. Can't speak for the Gary Moscheles, as I just haven't heard it yet. The moral of this story is, Tango'n Vectif is amazing. But as far as I'm concerned, it's all downhill from there.... mind you, it's a pretty damn big slope :) onnow: v/a "synoptics" (reflective) Lame Thread Prevention in Effect: Aaron Michelson --------------------------------------------------------------------- aw-teck'r (autechre) "Everything you Know is Wrong" For reviews, interviews, art & trash http://www.on-it.net/~aaron/ aaron@defiant.on-it.net
