A very strange thing happened yesterday. I wasn't going to mention it, simply because I'm not sure exactly what happened or it's full reprecusions. While surfing around the net yesterday trying to find something to do so I could get myself in even more trouble the little exclamation point sprung up next to my mailbox logo down there on the right. It's a wonderful looking thing isn't it? The mailbox looks so small and lonely down there all by itself and when there's mail suddenly he has a friend who appears from thin air like a magic trick. You almost feel guilty looking at your mail and killing the mailboxes friend. Anyway, I cringed and clicked on the box. His friend vanished instantly, but my mail was slow in coming. It took a couple minutes to download. When it finally came my eyes went first to the sender box. Curiously, it told me it came from '779'. There was no subject line, but a file seemed to be attached. Above it where two word: 'view immediately.' Now normally when something like this happens, it spells trouble. Someone could be out to get me with a virus or know knows what. I hesitated for a minute, a long minute, but I couldn't stand it. My curiousity got the better of me. I clicked on the attachment and then something very strange happened. I don't know if it was a trick of the light from a car going by or the neighbors starting up a blender, but it seemed as if, for the smallest milisecond, the lights flickered in the room. My computers screen went blank and my mind raced in a blind panic. Should I turn off the computer? Should I reset it? I tried the monitor to make sure it somehow hadn't been turned off accidently, but no, it was blank on purpose. Before I could think of my next course of action, the screen was back to normal again. I looked in the mail folder, and the mysterious email was nowhere to be found. I cliked on the sender bar to make sure it wasn't just a bad date line but no, it was truly gone. What should I do? I picked up the phone and was about to call my girlfriend to tell her what had happened ( I can't tell you why, as she usually could care less about these things) when I made a remarkable discovery. 779 the mail said it was sent from. I looked at the phone keypad and tried the various cobinationns of letters under the numbers. Then it suddenly hit me 779...S-P-Y. I quickly switched to my browser and had a look at the spymania site. Something strange had happened. The spymania roster had been filled with mysterious pictures. Why had this taken place this way? Where the spy's really behind it? Was it some other group tyring to infiltrate the spy's site and spread disinformation? I've mailed the spy's but haven't heard back yet. Hardy is supposedly going smelt fishing in the north with his uncle (do they have computers where he is?), so hopefully I'll hear from him when he gets back. I can't help but think this has something to do with people discussing those rumors around the Spymania Allstars EP.
