I saw them down here in DC at the 9:30 club and to sum it up, the experience was basically identical; the dim lighting, the drawn out tunes with a much harder edge, the occasional loop out of sync which got to be very annoying, and of course the blood running from my ears(wink wink) at the end of the evening after 2 and half hours of overamplification.... Oh yeah, the equipment I did make out was an (En)soniq something or other controlling a rack of other modules, one being and Emulator E64. The set that Tricky was fiddling with contained some sort of Akai sampler module. By the way I still enjoyed the concert, it wasn't exactly what I expected but when is anything... ;-)
