Hi y'all. My name is Miles and I've just resubscribed to this list from
oever a year ago.
I'd like to get some feedback on the Jungle side of IDM.
I'm not very pleased with the drum tracks of some of the Jungle I've been
hearing including Spring Heel Jack or various other Jungle compilations. I
could swear everyone is using the same darn beats. Considering the roots of
Jungle; the sped up 33 to 45 breakbeat samples. I'm surprised I haven't
heard more variation. I believe more can be done than the synchopated snare
and eigth note cymbals.
Am I just not hearing enough joungle or what.
What do you think?
