mistral owes a bit to the soul and style of prehoover techno detroit, with
sprightly programming and a gentle vibe, punctuated with the 4/floor beat
and classic percussion sounds. biorhythmic, but without the hooks.
shimmery metallic washes cover mistral anti-melody style. flip! who.is.that
swings out more interesting percussion programming, and with a more
accessable melody, this will hook more ears. swooping through a few
structure changes, this offers more vibe (and breakdowns). verdict? jazzy
techhouse that does not offend. smooth.

starting with a slinky cooed monologue and wasting no time, the ec remix
jumps to kick like a minimal mule. a low end murmur id's this track with a
trancelike feel no stranger to the broom/hill/ford style camp, with more
familiar rhythmic programming. vocals are kept in check. 4/floor riddims.
level e ups the tempo, creating a much punchier version with charming
hihats/cowbells (did someone utter conemelt?) and an excellent drone. bonus
beats are also included, for you djs consistently in the mix. decision?
excellent minimal techno in a bc/cr vein. subtle.
