If memory serves me a lot of the mixes were different from the records for
the 8 track format (one continuous piece of tape, stereo left and right, 4
programs of equal length) so that you wouldn't get a song going over the
program break like so often happened with 8-tracks. Of course this was over
15 years ago and my memory may be bleak but I know that happened a lot with
other artists and I seem to remember it was that way with Kraftwerk too.
Oh by the way, Best Buy does NOT need any of your money, ever, for any
reason. They treated me like a criminal for wanting to trade my fucked up
copy of "Wasted" for a new one that wouldn't skip in my player. Nearly
strip-searched me as I walked in the door. I wish they would have, because
I'd have shat over them.
