Well, first let me ask you (or any others) to define the Goa Trance genre. I am having a difficult time keeping track of the distinct elements of trance, etc. With the limited amount of Goa resources available right now (I guess it's because it is a realtively new genre), I haven't been able to find much Goa, however the two stores I shop at in Boston have Goa, Trance and Progressive Trance all kind of bunched together so I have seen Goa and even Psychadelic Trance. Anyway, some of the labels I've picked up on are Dragonfly, Matsuri, Transient, Perfecto (Flouro) and even Blue Room all have some Goa-esque artists. Some artists that come to my mind recently are Man With No Name, Prana, and Cosmosis. Again, I hardly know whether some of these are pure Trance or Goa Trance, I can usually recognize Trance artists easily, but I'm stumped on Goa. If you haven't already, check out the Resonance Records home page music catalog at http://www.netcreations.com/resonance/. They list their available albums there with great track descriptions. I've noticed a lot of Goa references in the Trance artists album descriptions. Well, that's it for now. dc .:: David A. Caruso :: caruso@tiac.net :: caruso@wit.edu ::.
