Fair enough Eric - but there is a large gap between an artist saying that
they'll possibly release something and having the information spread that
the release is imminent. A lot of shit can happen between those two events
and ultimately the best result is to stay quiet until it's pretty certain
that the something (whether it's a hot new release, live gig or whatever)
will actually happen. Or would you want to be disappointed?

I certainly do - sure, it can occasionally be irritating but I'd rather have
a label like Rephlex surprising me, than some label that regularly and
monotonously keeps to it's release schedule with 12"s that were announced a
few years previously.
