Hello A friend told me the other day that Orbital's MOEBIUS has a Tears For Fears sample. We listened to it about five times and couldn't recognize anything. Keep in mind that I do not know all the Tears For Fears music, but we were expecting something that made 'em popular. Like 'Shout' or 'Everybody Wants To Rule the World.' Do any of you idm'ers have any idea if this is true about Orbital's MOEBIUS. I really to know, because I am giving a presentation on sampling in IDM music to my class. Any info will be EXTREMELY valuable. Also, I just picked up Cd by LIONROCK (aka lionking "hehe"). A lot of this disc sounds trip hoppy, but there sooooo much variety on this disc it does belong on this discussion group. The title of the disc is AN INSTICNT FOR DETECTION and on the cover has a picture of a Sherlock Holmes type looking person. I highly recommend it for IDM'ers who like a disc with a gazillion styles all over the disc. So maybe it can't be classified as trip hop or anything. These three guys have a good future ahead of them if they can keep the vibe of this disc going in the future adventures. Sorry, I an not that good at giving reviews. I only ask folks to trust my judgement.
