A Guy Called Gerald - Black Secret Technology. Beautiful album (best of the year for me). Polyrythmic, layered beats, crossing all boundaries. Check out "Anita's Dream" for certifiable proof of genius at work. Subtropic does'nt even come close to this kind of sound (and I like the Subtropic album) sashainboston Hey all, new to the list... I recall his debut album from... 87? Black Lemonade I think. Definitely some sound before his time, or at least, before his time in the stream it was picked in. Voodoo Ray had an almost dada-esque quality about it. Perhaps genius, certainly original. Elmer
