I think you're wrong about it being Richard Brown. As I understand it they are Chris Duckenfield and Richard Benson. Richard And Chris = RAC. They were formerly known as Astrix and Space, northern rave boys back in the day, and remixers of an Altern8 track. One of them (Chris?) works or worked in the WARP shop in Sheffield. They have also released two EPs on Nucleus, a now-defunct (I think) offshoot of WARP, which I think they were in charge of. The CD of "Diversions" included 4 extra tracks taken from these earlier EPs, while the 12" mini-LP was just 5 new tracks.
