I *finally* found the final link from the excellent "Give Peace a Dance II" collection in Berkeley. The album by Bleep and Booster. I originally picked up GPaD2 in January of '92 and it was the first time I'd heard people like Irresistible Force, Black Dog, and of course Bleep and Booster. The album sounds like Kraftwerk had just released something new. Very nice beepy stuff with loads of vocorder work. The version of "Genki" is much longer, but still sticks to the original style. Out of a pile of about $300 worth of stuff, I think this is my favorite acquisition. David Toop seems to be fairly ubiquitous in the scene. Is he behind the New Electronica releases? I also found the full releases by Salt Tank and Infinite Wheel which are both a serious thumbs up.
