there's no such thing as 'hard breakbeat' as a style of music. i think the guy meant a hard breakbeat, as in one that rattles your skull quite nicely. my favorite type of breakbeat actually, next to the shuffly ones. i know plenty of stuff at 160+ that has weak ass breakbeats. anything with the 'amen' or the 'ya bad sista' (although i still call it the 'chubbs' :) for example. you've got no reason to laugh at this guy though cos you only made yourself look foolish!
