Hello all!
This week at Oscillate we are inviting our good friend Andy Seaver
(ndCv) down to play a special live set.
If you have seen ndCv live you know how sweet this is. Andy's
compositions are equaly beautiful and accessible while remaining both
challenging and intricate in their beat structure and sound pallette. Imagine
Boards of Canada with a bit more teeth and you might be getting close to
an approximation.
I am also going to play a live Electrosect set (say that three times
fast)
Mr. Greg Skidmore will also be on hand to lay down some tasty vinyl
treats.
and as a special treat:

and all this for 3 bux...you can't beat that!
hope to see you all out this tuesday (Dec.6)!
cheers
here's the show copy if you are curious...

Andy Seaver grew up in the state of Maine, on the eastern coast of
the United States. He studied music at Wesleyan University in
Connecticut, and finally moved out to Seattle, Washington, to explore his West
Coast intuitions.
His approach is to create electronic music through the manipulation of
recorded noises. Although this "musique-concrete" approach to
production is certainly nothing new, Andy finds it exciting to disguise ordinary
sounds through, primarily, combination filtering and pitch distortion.
The low diesel drone of an idling truck can become the pulsing pad of
harmony
