Here are some cool, free (Creative Commons) downloads I found for your listening pleasure: https://archive.org/details/Game_Tunes-14289 The Game Tunes EP is a nice blend of IDM, chiptune, and 90's arcade game sounds. "Level 2" and "Level 3" are maybe my favorite tracks. The rapid-fire drum work on "Game Over" is reminiscent of Untitled by Autechre. https://archive.org/details/bp013 The Pleh album is organic, tactile IDM. "Mercury" is contemplative, almost melancholic. There are some beautiful ambient melodies in "Testing Code" and "Are We Alone." Pleh was released on the now-defunct netlabel Bypass, which has a lot of free electronica albums that you can download: http://bp.bai-hua.org/. It's some really great stuff. There are some hidden gems on archive.org and other free sites.

Thanks for the pointer to Pleh–great stuff, indeed! Looks like ZhangJW has a bunch of albums on that archive and I haven’t had time to listen to them all but there is other great stuff there as well. I’m going to reach out to ZhangJW to see about releasing some of this music and if I do, I’ll send you a free CD. Dave
