Not sure if any of you caught the piece on circuit bending in the most
recent issue of XLR8R (Plastikman cover, issue #72). It talks a little about
the work I do and has some pics of me and my toys.
Anyway, I'm just starting to sell some of my bent instruments to the public
and put the first one up on ebay yesterday:

This first one is the actual Speak & Spell photographed on page 103 of that
issue (in its early stage of being bent). There was also going to be a
bending tutorial in that same issue showing me modifying this particular
Speak & Spell, but it got cut at the last minute.
If all goes well with this first one, I'll probably be auctioning off a new
instrument each week, so contact me off list if want me to give you the
heads-up.
I know I'll probably catch some shit for this (yes, I'm a shameless sellout
cashing-in on my short-lived fame, okay?) but after years from getting
lightheaded off of hot solder and ruining my wife's kitchen table by turning
it into my workbench, I think I'm entitled to a little something.
On a side note, I'll be playing two shows in Portland this Saturday (Music
Millennium instore at 5pm and Dunes at 9pm), so come on out if you're in the
area.
