This was a little project I posted about a while back. Know that alot of people on the list make music and I had been putting together some noise/ambient compilations together and began to think it would be fun to put together one that had some idmlistmembers on it. Anyone interested could contribute a track (or tracks as it turned out) and I would then make some cd-rs and send out a copy to those who contributed. After a while I began to really like some of the tracks, alot. So I offered to make up some extra copies that I'd send out to labels and some people who I knew who posted some good reviews. It wasn't intended as a commercial release, simply a music sharing project. There's been alot of talk about it and alot of people have asked me for copies but there's only one or two left unclaimed which will probably get sent off to labels. Maybe if some good reviews get posted and everyone involved is comfortable with it I'll make some more copies for those interested, but its doubtful right now. I'd be more inclided to work on another one (and put alot more work into it than the last) Why the project was a raging success for me... Novel 23... In the two years or so I've been on this list, haven't seen a post from Roman before, but he sent three great tracks. For me, this was what it was about... anyways, if you get a chance to hear / check out Novel 23, do so! And to all the artists who are on it that have been sending me thanks, thanks much too you guys... Its your music, I just made some cd-rs =) All the tunes, imo, were really great! brap@sonic.net[icq: 12645306] http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ sfwd prod | noisesoundnoise chris g. 1547 boston court #7, santa rosa, ca 95405

Heh, heh... Was that me who forwarded your call for tracks to Roman or was it in Serotonin case?.. I don't remember. He does read this list though. It's great to see such a positive reaction. I lazily maintain the Novel23 site at http://mu.ru/Novel23 (now it's got an English[-like] content), where one may find some info and RA tracks (which IMO feature somewhat dated efforts). -- With my best features, M.Z. mailto:mzabal@module.vympel.msk.ru ICQ#6385701 IRC:RusNet/#Mu
