i scribbled down these in-brief thoughts about the 360r catalog in response to Tom's question. thought the list might want to see it, too. if not... well, "you know how to "delete," don't ya? you just put your fingers on your mouse and click."
quoted 2 lines well, if the other releases are half as good as "circuits", im>well, if the other releases are half as good as "circuits", im >sold...but, who carries these in the usa? thanks for the info though...
they're all very different. _Circuits_ is in a class of its own. haven't heard the Fused n' Bruised LatinAmyl comp, but i imagine that might be similar. 360's is probably much classier. everything these people do is just immaculate. _Silver Minutes_ and Dub Sonic Starship Arkestra are very baffling records. the first sounds as though someone shattered a stack of disks and built a new CD with the fragments. beautiful but very sparse and totally fragmented. DSSA defies description. VERY free jazz - we're talking *zero* structure. it's really difficult to say anything about the album. it's just... Dub Sonic Starship Arkestra. they've really got the Sun Ra part right! Jigen's album is the next one to pick up if you're really into _Circuits_. fabulous breakbeat stuff with hyperspastic programming swimming in warm unidentifiable tones.
