Yea, I think I'll just check what nMD5 has to offer and then forget all
about pre-recorded MDs. I still need to decide exactly what to purchase from
them, though, since I can order only three MDs from nMD5 without being hit
by VAT.
They are offering the following four records in minidisc-format:
PROEM / among others
TIM KOCH / mine is yours
QUENCH / punctuated
PORTLAND / distal
So I need to leave one out. 'Punctuated' has received a lot of praise, so I
guess I need to get at least that one. I've read a few reviews of 'among
others' as well, but those two others, Koch's 'mine is yours' and Portland's
'distal', are entirely unfamiliar to me. What kind of records are they, and
are they any good? Which of these four would you consider the weakest?
