Divination has two albums, Ambient Dub 1 and Ambient Dub 2: Dead Slow. I like both but I think the second one is better overall. VERY heavy bass on both of these albums. Rythmns fading in and out. Quite nice. -Matt

Although I like both Divination disc's, if you mention Laswell (and like Laswell) Psychonavigation (w/ P. Namlook) is a must in ambient dub. I guess it has been released domestically now (US) on Subharmonic. The first track is nearly 38 minutes of low bass and airy Namlook style sounds with a nice beat in the background. Track two is very ambient w/o much off a beat. Track three (bout 20 minutes long) is ambient dub at its best! Really one of the best pieces I've heard in a long time. Thanks for reading, MC

the ambient dub vols I, II, III are great. i wouldn;t hesitate in suggesting vol II as your first purchase. HIA's offerings are great especially the remix of 'speedlearn'. other standout tracks are banco de gaia's offerings as well as the completely mesmerizing APL track "the calling". well worth the price. as mentioned earlier, the one a.d. comp is very good as well. + + --- transistor rhythm --- + +

Could you tell me a little about Banco De Gaia? I have heard great things from friends and am looking into purchasing a release of their's. However, I am a little more interested in Trance and Acid then towards Mellow Ambient... if you could fill me in... currently I was looking towards the Desert Wind EP. Any info would be appreciated. Morgan.
