Have it in my hands now: Expander (radio remix) 3:43 Expander (remix) 4:49 Moscow (remix) 4:59 Central Industrial 4:19 Yawn, the remixes aren't that dramatic, just longer versions (with some cheesy rearranging a la Razormaid :) Also, after the stunning production quality on Lifeforms, the recording quality on this is just pathetically muddy.

Supposedly a requarking (wow, I meant to write "reworking" but that seems to make more sense :) of the title track of Lifeforms, with the long-awaited vocals from Liz Fraser.

Didn't know about these; I know that Accelerator was rereleased with the remixes I paid $10 for. :) Anyone? Brian

This is it - 38 minutes of bliss, Liz F is not as prominent as I'd hoped, but there is plenty of other good stuff in there - Tablatronics, strange sound effects, choral chanting. Portishead were mentioned a few weeks ago - their second single "Sour Times" is out this week, and is just as good as the first - not really IDM, more late-night smoky jazz/dub/pop. -- Andrew Norman, Leicester, England | Jedermann sein eigner Fussball nja@le.ac.uk |
