Hello, I have the following Vinyl LPs left over from the days when I used to be the only mail order retailer in the US for these titles (I'm no longer doing any music retailing :-( ). I'd like to trade them (individually) for DJ tapes, either IDM or not... in fact, old stuff is perhaps preferable (91? 89?). Or else for tapes of old out of print techno or house. (Which is not to say that I'd refuse DJ tapes of the latest IDM/house/trip-hop/jungle/? ). They are (all still sealed and all "reissues") : Manuel Gottsching - E2-E4 (6 copies) - The million-selling hit of Summer '89 "Sueno Latino" was a "cover" of this 60-minute long track. In the TEEX book, Dr. Patterson describes his favorite ambient albums, and says this in his description of Steve Hillage's "Rainbow Dome Musick": "Mix Manuel Gottsching's 'E2 = E4' with 'Rainbow Dome Music" and you'll be very surprised at the end result. Music to rebuild your head after a heavy night". So, all you need are two 1200's and the RDM LP and this one. Richard Wahnfried - Time Actor (5 copies) - Richard Wahnfried is the name that Klaus Schulze used for his collaboration albums. This one includes Arthur Brown ("I am the god of hellfire and I bring you fire."), Vincent Crane (played keyboards on the original Fire), and Mike Shrieve - percussionist for Santana. There is a pretty weird "talk" by Brown on this about the metaphysics of time... Richard Wahnfried - Tonwelle (3 copies) - This is less Ambient and more space-rock-ish. Features Manuel Gottsching on guitar, Mike Shrieve on percussion, and the artist-known-before-and-after-this-recording-as-Carlos Santana :-) (but attributed to "Karl Wahnfried" in the liner notes). Oh yes, this is 18 minutes a side -- at 45 RPM (12"). Of course, there's Klaus Schulze on synths on both the Wahnfried LPs. respect, Ken Ken.Stuart@tigerteam.org --- * UniQWK v2.0 * The Solution for Multilingual Messages / Tiger Team Buddhist Information Network / / Modem (510) 268-0102 info@tigerteam.org /

Ken, If you're interested in outright selling copies of any of these records let me know- I don't have anything you'd want to trade for most likely (I mix weird experimental records or strange off-shoots of progressive/downtown NY avante with a hint of idm on my Brain Mix/Crankient Music tapes (professionally packaged, though!)). The Richard Wahnfried records both sound really interesting to me- I just bought the first Kingdom Come record to pursue a bit more of Arthur Brown's work, so space-rock related to that really piques my interest. Let me know if you're interested, and how much you'd want for them if so. Thanks, Phil Zampino
