For all those london-idmers out there (and anyone who wants to try their mail order), the virgin megastore on oxford street has a number of import cd copies of 'Water From a Vine Leaf' going at around #7/8 quid, import cd price. Has the radio edit, the 'acid bath' mix and the 'underwater' mix on it, plus a track each from SCII and SCI. You can ring 'em on 071-631-1234. They do credit card orders and stuff, and dont charge much for postage overseas. and WA-HEY! new black dog. Makes up for their track on AI2 being something done ages ago..... uncle duke. In a semi related sense... I purchased the water from a vine leaf single...it had the mixes you mentioned plus an 11:47 mix....plus the 2 tracks from scI and scII.... then i went to another store and asked if they had scIII in stock...but they didnt...they did however give me a promo copy of water from a vine leaf for free...i thought...well...i already have one, but i can give it to a friend who doesnt have one....but then i looked at it more closely...its not the same as the one i bought...there are six mixes and none of them are tracks from scI or scII...they are all mixes of water from a vine leaf.... Is this a diferent version of the single...or rather...did they release two versions of the water from a vine leaf single...or is this an import (although it doesnt look like one...)...or is this a nifty little rarity that has come my way....? Just curious.... Also...is there a william orbit discog out there? You've gotta remember though that "Water" was originally release a while back in the UK and was totally ignored here on this side of the pond by Virgin/IRS US. Here in Canada, the version of "Water..." that I have contains only five mixes with the version by Spooky, Underworld and the man himself.
