Alter Ego is one of the many guises of Roman Flugel & Jorn Ellen Wuttke who, in my opinion, are two of the more prolific electronic music & techno producers in the 90s having over 100 releases to their credit under a dizzying list of guises that include Sensorama, Acid Jesus, Holy Garage, The Primitive Painter, Rebel Youth, Supreme Truth, Eight Miles High, Warp 69, Intensity, Basic Gravity, Miyako, Ro70, Solylent Green, and Roman IV. The styles from guise to guise vary greatly from the smooth tech-house to deep techno to idm to electro to d&b to acid to ambient. Name a style and these guys have done a great release in it. Flugel & Wuttke are also the ones who own & operate the excellent Klang Elektronik label. A few of my favorite Flugel & Wuttke releases are: . Alter Ego: Decoding the Hacker Myth + bonud rmx 2xcd (Harthouse) . Alter Ego: Nude Restaurant Remix 12" (Harthouse) . The Primitive Painter: s/t cd (Klang Elektronik) . Sensorama: Welcome Insel cd (Ladomat 2000) . Sensorama: Zu Gast auf der Welcome Insel cd (Ladomat 2000) . Sensorama: Love cd (Ladomat 2000) . RO 70: s/t cd (Source) . RO 70 meets Move D: s/t 12" (Source) . Warp 69: Natural High cdep (Fierce!) . Eight Miles High: s/t 12" (Klang Elektronik) . Eight Miles High: Two 12" (Klang Elektronik) For a complete discography check the unofficial page at: http://www.franken.de/users/tursa/AcidJesus_discog.html Hope this helps! -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
