Interesting to note on this new label is "the artist's >>cut" of Definitive Ambient Collection 2. From what I've heard, Rising High >>screwed Pete so he released his own version instead.

No, no, you're thinking of Real World, a record label that was founded by Peter Gabriel. You are also thinking of Gabriel's work, "Passion", which is music from and inspired by "The Last Temptation of Christ", a film that re-told (in a way) the story of Jesus Christ. Real World (the record label) has nothing to do with FAX, The World Ambient Label, the WORLD CD-only FAX sublabel, or Pete Namlook (sp?). "Passion" is quite good, though. ;) And of course, there are many other great releases on Real World, for those of you interested in world musics. Brad.

yes, you're right, Gabriel did make that album, and the Real World label is quite good, but there is also a release on the Yesterday-Tomorrow label by Pete Namlook and Juergen Rehberg (is he related to the guy that owns EMS?). It is probably inspired by Gabriel's album, but it is quite different. It's ambient, but more towards the new-agey side with female voices etc. Last Temptation of Christ, haven't heard about that for a while. Remember the controversy that stirred up?
