all this hardcore stuff really is not. some of it's good but all pretty generic breakbeat and seems to me to have run out of steam creatively. it's all pretty old certainly the top buzz track has been around since 92(?) sometime in the uk, so has the neuromancer (i confess the only two i'm familiar with). the breakbeat stuff has pretty much died the death here, it's very popular with the teenage lot and designed to whizz your tits off and dance all night to to. if you like it , the wax doctor is a cut above the rest (on the same label as top buzz - basement (?)). labels to look out for are suburban base, reinforced, production house all in london. Fantazia did a good compilation (with a nipple on the front and a house side too). sorry all this is anecdotal, but i have a bad short term memory (????). could find out more if you like though, as hardcore is something the brits do best!
