A while back I mentioned that I would be putting out a 12" on Silent Records...well, it should be out next month. The project is called Apollo, with 2 dance tracks on the a side and a 15-minute ambient track on the b-side. It's the "Heaven on Earth" E.P., and is "the next slated release" on Silent Records. I hope it surfaces soon! Cheers! Well, I do, but I really haven't bothered to release it. Rather than try to conform with the current norms I'm going to just shove my stuff away and release it myself whenever the times indicate that it would be well-received. Occaisonally I will make cassettes for friends or perform bits of it in ambient rooms as part of my DJ sets, but I'm making no big effort to get released until I find a label worth releasing it on and an audience to appreciate it. Dont forget the SoG sessions....for those who didnt write this article Sound of Giggha (me) and Kinetic Illusion are currently working on an idea for an Ambient versus techno tape (you know, one on one side, one on the other) featuring material co-written by Brendan an myself at Fig Tree studios (my bedroom - and bloody cramped it is too!).

Yeah, but i think you know that already. Im referring to the Sound of Giggha live set played at the Brunel Academy a couple of weeks ago. A short set of Acid, Ambient and industrial all sequenced and played live using predominantly non midi gear. Sound of Giggha material currently available: Sog Ambient Dub - wierd live ambience 15 mins Sog Live 1 - Recording of the afore mentioned live act. Sog Demo 1 - Sin of the Times (a bit old now) 30 mins Sog 1 - Some early stuff again. 90 Mins. Sog 2 - Ambient, hard and Ambitek - Innovative - 90 Mins Sog 3 - Flying Carrot. mostly hard and acid. - 90 Mins Sog 4 - How to make a Transistor radio. - 90 mins - general modern ambient and tek also DAT Sog 5 - About 3/4 done so far! - will be 90 mins bang up to date ambient, tek and Ambitek. ...also Restoration II Kiss for Dust SoG remix Ltd 7'' may be coming out in a couple of months cash dep. Didn't you have something to do with Hardkiss stuff, especially the God Within's "Raincry"? Heard this track played at a Dallas rave last weekend. Thought I'd never hear it play (as I live in pitiful Houston!)...pretty cool. -djkc
