Hello all!
This week (tue.Sept. 13) at Oscillate we are pleased to be featuring a
special extended DJ set by our good friend and Oscillate resident Paul
Edwards. Paul has been a resident of Oscillate since our early days at
See Sound Lounge andhas been an integral part of our little experiment
on tuesday nights. We are both excited and a little(alot) sad about
Paul's recent decision to step back from being a weekly resident at
Oscillate He will use this extra time as an opportunity to focus on his own
compositional work. Paul will always be a huge part of our family, and if
his set at the Monolake show was any indication of what can come of
this, we will all be the better for it--trust me!
Anyway, this tuesday will mark Paul's last resident DJ set at
Oscillate, so--- come down buy him a drink and help us thank him for being a
part of our weekly romper room.
....and.... as is our habbit, we went and got kinda crazy with the booking
and invited our friend Evylup (Kip Sheppard) down for a live set, as well as a presentation by local programmer and visual artist, Traiskey;
who will be demonstrating an interactive visuals program that he wrote
called Salvation. He starting writing the program as a music synthesizer a couple years ago and as he continued working on it, he started adding features; morphing it into it's current form---a video/visuals synthesizer.
Definately a cool little program........ and he wrote the thing
himself......(cool!!!!)
...here's the show copy...
hope to see you on tuesday!
cheers..........
