here is the deal, from a Manc. angle, being a native from Manchester.
I have spent several nights and days first hand speaking or hanging with Rob, Sean, Jed O'Hara, Andy Madsocks, Rob Hall, Mad Mike from Moston, and basically everybody else who was about at the birth of the Oldham pair, Skam Crew, IBC explosion, etc.
The best way to make the sound you want which should = Autechre (Ae), is to change the first 3 letters of the word AUT in the word for OAR, next keep the middle TECH, as it is, Tech as in Technology or Techno. Finally switch the last part ER, for RE. but make that RE sound like (A) as in the A of Apple, not RE, Reel.
That's OAR-TECH-A
The HA at the end can also sound like HA, ha, as in having a laugh.....
