Hello,
Its been a while since the last naw news letter has gone out, if my mind
serves me correctly its been since oct 2004. Yes so it is about time.
For thought of you who thought it was just a roumer that, naw has left
Montreal once again well its not. I am once again calling the city of
Toronto my home. To celebrate this move I will be playing a live show May
13th at the famed NASA lounge located on Queen west (more info about this
event and other shows below). I have also been asked to perform at the Le
Placard showcase of 40 plus artists asked to present work for headphone
diffusion at this years mutek festival. I will perform on the June 4th
dated at 2 in the afternoon, full showcase details are (or will be
availalbe shortly at www.mutek.ca). There are other live performances in
the works over the summer which will be announced as soon as I can confirm
them offically.
You can also check out www.naw.phoniq.net this is a very temporary beta
version of
the
naw website that will be offically launched by the end of this summer, in
the mean time you can gat updated info about live shows and download some
mp3s from various releases of mine as well as a full 30 min live
performance recorded for greg clows feedback monitor radio show, as heard
on ciut-fm.
Speaking about releases, Green Nights Orange Days released by Noise
Factory Records last Novemember 2004, is now available in europe, along
with the rest of my past catalogue for the label. If your looking to pick
up both releases of mine on Noise Factory you can do so off the Noise
Factory website www.noisefactoryrecords.com there is currently a great
deal that Joe from the label is offering which is both CDs for the price
of one.
Im also happy to announce that, I have recently released a limited edition
release for the new Quebec City label Pertin_nce, called Terrain Vague
which is currently
availalbe to buy on line at www.pertin-nce.com you can also find a
listing of stores where this release is available to purchase.
And once we are talking about smaller limited edition releases you can
still find copies of the Gibberish release on piehead records off thier
website www.pieheadrecords.com as well as the Anagram release on
clevermusic.net is still availalbe for full free download from
www.clevermusic.net so get it and enjoy
In fact get them all and enjoy the many faced of dub inspired techno that
naw can serve up in all his currently availalbe catalogue.
