This is my new favorite CD. I was lucky enough to get a live taste of this last summer when I brought Xingu Hill to Halifax (along with Szkieve) and I just got the actual CD release today. Am on my 4th straight listen as I type this. Wow! For those that don't know the story (pardon the pun), it's American writer Brian Evenson reading excerpts from his works accompanied by Xingu Hill & Tamarin. The result is visceral, detailed, dark, and enticing. Check it out if you like dark ambience, detailed and delicous sound design, and intelligent fiction.
