Hello all - I've hated Real Player since its inception but every once in a while something I *really* want to listen to is available only in that format. Usually I just suck it up and forgo the listen if it's in *.ram format. But this hatred has been with me so long that I'm starting to catch its ill effects. So a few questions: Is there anything out there that will allow me to convert REAL files into MP3/WAV format? If not, can anyone recommend any non-Real software that will allow me to play *.ram files? As a follow-up - I just uninstalled Real Player, and downloaded & installed the Real Alternative package (codecs & the latest version of Media Player Classic). I tested it with a couple of radio sites that broadcast with RealAudio, and it works great.
